Every year in the UK over 100,000 babies are born premature or requiring medical attention.
New Life is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising money for special care baby units. The Charity was launched by Trevor Goodall in 1995 in memory of his sons Joshua and Samuel who were born 3 months early weighing just 1lb 1oz and 1lb 3oz. Sadly, they both died after a week, but their struggle inspired Trevor to do something. Now each year the charity goes from strength to strength.
To date Trevor and his team of volunteers have raised almost £873,000.00 helping hospitals such as Swindon, Reading, Yeovil, Basingstoke, Bristol, Oxford, Nottingham and Hull raise funds to buy specialist equipment, improving the chances of babies born prematurely.

We would like to assure all of our supporters, fundraisers and sponsors that we are taking measures to adhere to the current government guidelines. So have taken the decison to postpone all face-to-face fundraising events until we are advised that it is safe to resume our normal fundraising activities. All individual entries for events that cannot now take place will be honoured and held over. We thank all of New Life's friends for their understanding and patience during this difficult time for many.
As a charity we are taking this matter seriously and will continue to monitor and conform to the government guidelines. In the meantime please stay safe and well and keep in touch.
This year's Annual Charity Golf Day raised a staggering £25,000. In just one week this total was increased to £32,000 by the unexpected donation from the Kirton Trust.
During September 2020 we are encouraging people to get on their Bikes and cycle 301 miles or more during the 30 days of September...just keep doing bits and bobs whenever you can..
We ask you to donate £20 to do this but you can encourage others to sponsor you here:
Keep sending New life your distances and photos so we can promote you....
Enjoy and thanks for helping sick and premature babies.

We are so very lucky to be supported by The Light Fund every year. In 2018 alone they donated an amazing £10,000 towards the purchase of two incubators.
