Calcot Park Golf Day 2019

Calcot Park generously opened their doors to welcome New life to their beautiful golf club on August 1st 2019.

We had a sell out 25 x 3 person teams set off at mid day with a shotgun start in a Team stableford competition.

It was a glorious event with the sun shining and a very friendly atmosphere.

We warmed up by watching The Paul Barrington Golf Trick Show generously donated by club professional Gareth Johnstone..Paul kept everyone entertained and his dry humour was gratefully accepted . 

Afterwards the club laid on a lovely post golf supper and we were certainly entertained by  comedian Aaron James who had a story about everyone there and  you became scared to move!!

 The event raised a staggering £10,800 which was helped immensely by very generous donations to the raffle and auction.

A big thanks to Steve Dopson for organising the event with Azego backing  the prizes.

Many local companies sponsored each hole which again boosted the Charity considerably.

The whole Calcot Park club showed great enthusiasm and we are looking forward to coming back next year.
