New life Babies Charity is proud to announce the incredible success of its recent fundraising event, Sportathon 2025, which raised an outstanding £43,000 to support premature and sick babies across the UK. The event was generously hosted by David Lloyd Clubs, drawing hundreds of enthusiastic participants and supporters.
Held at David Lloyd Newbury, the Sportathon featured a full day of fitness challenges, team relays, and family-friendly activities — all dedicated to raising vital funds for the charity’s life-saving work. Attendees pushed their limits in cycling, swimming, running, and more, while local businesses and volunteers came together to show their unwavering support.
“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who participated, donated, and supported this event,” said Trevor Goodall, CEO of New life Babies Charity. “Every pound raised brings us closer to providing the urgent care and resources that fragile newborns and their families desperately need.”
New life Babies Charity supports neonatal units, funds essential medical equipment, and offers guidance and emotional support to families navigating the early days of life with vulnerable infants.
The charity extends special thanks to David Lloyd Clubs for their incredible hospitality and dedication, and to the local community for making the Sportathon an unforgettable day of hope, health, and generosity.
