Supporter Spotlight - David

Did you know? Only 1.2% of babies requiring neonatal care are born before 25 weeks?

However, neonatal units across the UK require more lifesaving equipment to continue to care for all the babies in their care.  This is why the work of the charity, supporters and its Trustees is so vital.

We are delighted that David Newham joins us as a newest Trustee, making a total now of six.

David has supported New Life for over 20 years, having taken part in golf days and cycling events.

"Having been a long term supporter of New Life Special Care Babies" said David, "it is an honour to become a Trustee. From attending the annual golf day for the first time, 20 years ago, to having taken part in multiple cycling events. The work Trev and the team do so that premature babies have a fighting chance is nothing short of inspirational. My background is in business transformation and I coach rugby for Marlborough and Bath Academy. I hope that my contacts from the world of business and rugby will be of use to the charity as we push to raise even more funds so that the amazing work of the charity can reach more hospitals and babies who need our help. I look forward to meeting even more of the wonderful people who support this worthy cause as we continue to make a difference."

Welcome David!
