Review by Trevor Goodall

New Life in conjunction with Brighter Futures hosted a Black tie do at the fantastic setting of Bowood House in Wiltshire.  It attracted a lovely crowd of our supporters in an evening where we celebrated World Prematurity Day in recognition of all of the babies born too soon, which is 1 in 10 of all births.  Dr Sarah Bates did a lovely talk on the SCBU in Swindon and how New Life provides a pivotal role in saving tiny lives.  Everyone attending were encouraged to bring some chocolates and we filled a wheelbarrow of these delights!... you bought a ticket to win this scrumptious prize with the lucky winner Len Pearce the lucky recipient... he then kindly auctioned the chocolate fest to raise another £185!... very kind Len.

The evening raised £4500 after a raffle and auction to help even more premature babies and the evening was rounded off with a packed dance floor.  Many thanks to Immy Raven and Natalie Bealing for organising this great show.
