Vlada Niznikova gave birth to her second child, Arlo, just 4 months ago. With her 27th birthday at the end of October, she decided to dedicate her special day to running the Reading Rivermead 10k for New Life Special Care Babies on Sunday 31st.
“New Life has really inspired me to participate and make a change. Just to imagine for a second raising funds for vital neonatal equipment, including, incubators, to help those little ones, is absolutely incredible.”
Ms Niznikova who has been training hard for the marathon runs regularly each week in between her ‘mummy duties’ for her children.
It was back in September when attending a New Life Charity Golf Day at Donnington Valley, with her partner Ollie and baby Arlo, that she found out more about the charity and the difference it makes to the families of so many premature and very sick babies.
“Helping and supporting so many families during their most emotional times over the past 26 years, New Life has really inspired me to participate and make a change.”
