SCBU Dares Wins

We had a great turnout for the SAS Fan Dance Challenge on Saturday 9th September.  A total of 12 keen supporters took on the challenge to complete the 24k route on Pen Y Fan in the Brecon Beacons in as fast a time as possible.

Led by a team of volunteers made up of ex Special Forces guys and serving paramedics, those undertaking the challenge pushed themselves really hard despite the 30 degree temperatures.  

The challenge was to complete in under four hours as is expected during the SAS selection process.  Many managed this and the remaining challengers finished shortly after that.

An incredible £2100 was raised which will be used to buy neonatal equipment as it is requested by units across the UK.
