Chris and Kerry have proudly completed the Reading Half Marathon in support of New Life Babies, raising an impressive £1,500 for the charity.
The pair took on the challenge in excellent spirits and not only achieved their fundraising goal but also smashed their personal target time of 2.5 hours. Crossing the finish line in an outstanding 2 hours and 10 minutes, they exceeded expectations on both fronts.
Reflecting on the day, Chris and Kerry said they thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The atmosphere along the route, the fantastic crowd support, and the perfect weather conditions all contributed to a memorable event. One of the most special moments came as they approached the finish line, where they were greeted by their children, making the achievement even more meaningful.
Their efforts have helped raise vital funds for New Life Babies, a charity dedicated to supporting neonatal units and providing essential care and equipment for premature and critically ill babies.
The couple expressed their gratitude to everyone who donated and supported them, highlighting how motivating it was to run knowing the difference their fundraising would make. Their achievement stands as a proud example of community spirit and determination in action.
